Format
You can use the Format Camera Memory menu to delete all of the content that is currently
on your camera‟s memory. Keep in mind that formatting the memory will permanently delete
all of the content on your camera‟s memory.
1. Press the Power/Menu button to power on the camera and enter the Photo Capture
mode by default.
2. Press the Power/Menu button again to enter the Menu options. (The Self-Timer icon
appears by default.)
3. Press the Up button to select Format. The Format icon
4. Press the Shutter button to toggle between the Format options (listed below).
5. Press the Power/Menu button to select and save the desired Format option.
Format Options:
- Format: Automatically DELETES all images (photos and videos) on your camera‟s
memory.
- Cancel: Exits without deleting images and returns to taking photos in Photo
Capture mode.
NOTE:
Please use this feature only after you have downloaded all the images to your
computer. Once format the images/video are lost forever and cannot be retrieved.
