    Basic Functions Direct Transmission The FAX System starts scanning original documents after contacting the destination fax. If a multi-page original document is loaded in the document processor, the FAX System will scan and transmit one page of the document at a time. If the original document is placed on the platen, the alarm notifies to place the next page when scanning the previous page is completed.

    Basic Functions Interrupt Transmission If the fax is set up for Broadcast Transmission or other jobs are loaded before yours in memory, Interrupt Transmission lets you interrupt the queued jobs and send your document before them.     2 Sending a Fax This section contains explanations on how to send documents created on a network computer directly from that computer to the other fax machine by using the Network FAX Driver. IMPORTANT: The Network FAX Driver must be installed on the computer from which you want to send the documents.

    Sending a Fax Basic Transmission Use an application on your computer to create the documents to be sent. Select Print from the File menu. Use the drop-down menu in the Name field to select the name of the machine to be used as the Network FAX. The print dialogue box for the application that you are using will appear.

The display ratio for the template can also be changed to between 25% and 250% using the drop-down menu. If some destinations have been registered, the format for each destination can be displayed.
