3. Change the engine oil (page 18 ).
4. Pull the starter rope slowly until resistance is felt. This closes the
valves, and protects them from dust and corrosion.
5. Coat areas that may rust with a light film of oil. Cover the engine
and store it on a level surface in a dry, dust free area.
