Recording from the external equipment

Check the memory status beforehand (see page 42). If
the memory is low, move some data to a PC to make
some room.

Connect the external equipment to the unit.

Press the POWER button to turn the power on
(see page 8).

Hold down the menu button for 0.5 seconds or
more.
Hold down the menu button for 0.5 seconds or more
to return to the play mode.

Within 10 seconds, move the menu button toward
or to select "RECORD", and press it.

Within 10 seconds, move the menu button toward
MIC
+ or - to select "RECORD LINE-IN", and press it.

" Recording will be started.
" If the memory is low, "Disk Is
Full! Can Not Record" appears
(recording is not possible).

Begin playback on the external equipment.
To interrupt recording:
Press the menu button.
To resume recording, press the menu button again.
To stop recording:
Press the button.
Data will be saved.
