    We recommend that you start charging your battery before beginning assembly of your vehicle. Your new battery must be charged for at least 18 hours before you use your vehicle for the first time. • The battery must be handled by adults only. The battery is heavy and contains sulfuric acid (electrolyte).

    Groove Front Axle Long Leg Steering Linkage • Position the steering linkage as shown. • Insert the long leg of a front axle through the side of a pivot with the groove. Make sure the short axle leg fits into the groove. Helpful Hint: You may need to tap the axle with a hammer to fit the short leg into the groove.
