After the data capture parameters are set up, go to Start Scope or Review Data and press the
Return key. The data monitor screen shown in Figure 6- 1 0 is displayed.

The data monitor screen shows the actual characters as they are being sent and/or received by
the device. This screen displays both hexadecimal and ASCII data. Press any key and the Capture
Data screen is displayed (see Figure 6- 1 1).
