B. Diagnostic Charts

1. No Ice Production

Problem
[1] The icemaker will not
start.
Possible Cause
a) Power Supply
b) Transformer (115V
primary) (3 phase only)
c) Transformer
d) Water Supply
e) Bin Control Thermostat 1. Tripped with bin filled
f) Fuse (Control Box)
g) Control Switch
h) High Pressure Control
1. Off, blown fuse, or
tripped breaker.
2. Loose connection.
3. Bad contacts.
4. Not within
specifications.
1. Voltage tap switch
does not match
incoming voltage.
2. Coil winding open or
shorted.
1. Coil winding open or
shorted.
1. Water supply off or
pressure too low.
with ice.
2. Ambient temperature
too cool.
3. Set too warm.
4. Bulb out of position.
5. Bad contacts.
1. Blown.
1. "OFF" or "WASH"
position.
2. Bad contacts.
1. Bad contacts.
2. Dirty air filter or
condenser.
3. Ambient or condenser
water temperature too
warm.
4. Refrigerant
overcharged.
5. Fan not operating

Remedy
1. Turn on, replace, or
reset.
2. Tighten.
3. Check for continuity
and replace.
4. Refer to nameplate and
correct.
1. Verify incoming
voltage, move switch to
proper setting.
2. Replace.

recommended
pressure.
1. Remove ice.
2. Increase ambient
temperature.
