9.6 OSD settings for DVD
Use the Disc rating lock
This allows you to limit access to individual programs
base on disc rating.
Note: Make sure the source "DVD" is selected
andTV power is "ON".
1, Press MENU on the remote control and select
Parental control > Disc rating lode.

2. Enter your PIN.
3. If you do not have a PIN, set one as described in
Set or chor_g_, your PIN on page 19.
4. Press , or • and then press OK to lock or
unlock one or more ratings.
S. Each rating has a box-graphic in front of it to
indicate whether it is locked:
• A box with X indicates that the rating is
locked
• An empty box indicates that the rating is not
locked.
6. Press MENU to exit.
Use the Disc setup
This allows you to set disc function.
Press MENU on the remote control and select Disc
setup.

DVD output format - Sets DVD content
format to 4:3 or 16:9.
PBC
- Sets the playback contro! function.
Select On or Off.
Last memory - Sets Last memory function.
Select On or Off.
Disc rating Description
Kid safe Kid s_fe.
G
All ages.
PG Parental guidance.
PG-I 3 Parental guidance less than 13 years old.
P(3-R Under 17 years old, p_rental guidance suggested
R Under 17 years old, p_rental guidance strong{y
suggested.
NC-17 17 years o{d and above.
