Adjusting
Oven Thermostat
When cooking a food for the first
_ime in your new oven, use time

may "drift" from the factory setting
and differences
in timing between
an old and a new oven of 5 to 10
minutes

oven has been set correctly at the

SETTING,

Pull off knob. Move pointer one
notch in desired direction.

* Return knob to the range by
matching
the fiat area of the knob
to the shaft.
* Recheck oven performance
before
making an additional
adjustment.
Oven
Vent Duct
Oven is vented through
a duct
located
under the right rear
Calrod ® unit. To clean duct: re-
move Calrod@ unit and drip pan/
ring. Lift out vent duct. In replac-
ing, make sure the duct opening is
under the opening
in drip pan.
Correct
positioning
is important
to
allow moisture
and vapors to be
released
from oven. Never cover
tthe hole.

To remove:
• Take out 3 slotted screws as
shown in lamp diagram.
• Detach lamp cover and remove
bulb.
To replace:
• Put in a new 40-watt appliance
bulb.
• Install lamp cover. Replace 3
screws and tighten them, making
.sure cover fits flush with oven wall.
