I’ve connected the red/blue rca cable to the AV receiver CD input slots but no sound comes out of my center speaker but do hear sound out of my two floor standing speakers. What do I have to setup in the menu to get sound out of all my speakers including floor standing + center speaker - Marantz SR8200

To get sound from all speakers, including the center speaker, when using the CD input on the Marantz SR8200, follow these steps:

1. Select AMP Mode: Use the remote commander and set it to AMP mode.
2. Access the Setup Menu: Press the *Menu* button on the remote to display the "MAIN SETUP MENU" on the screen.
3. Choose Sound Mode: Navigate using the Up or Down cursor buttons to select a surround mode that supports multi-channel playback, such as Dolby Pro-Logic II (Music) or Neo:6.
4. Adjust Speaker Levels:
- Select "MANUAL" speaker setup.
- Use the Up or Down cursor buttons to adjust the output level of each speaker.
- Use the Left or Right cursor buttons to set the distance for each speaker.
5. Confirm Settings: Move the cursor to "NEXT" and press OK to apply the settings.

This setup ensures that all speakers, including the center speaker, produce sound when playing audio from the CD input.

To troubleshoot a Marantz SR8200 with a front left speaker not working, follow these steps:

1. Check the Headphones – Ensure that headphones are not connected to the headphone jack. If they are, disconnect them.
2. Verify Speaker Connections – Ensure the front left speaker is properly connected to the receiver.
3. Check the Function Selector – Make sure the correct function is selected.
4. Adjust Volume – Increase the master volume level if it is set too low.
5. Inspect the Input Cable – Verify that the input cables are correctly connected according to the connection diagram.
6. Test with Pink Noise – Use the built-in pink noise test to check if the front left speaker produces sound.
7. Confirm Speaker Operation – Test the speaker with another audio source to confirm it is working.
8. Check for Internal Issues – If the issue persists, internal circuitry may be faulty. Unplug the power cable and contact a Marantz dealer or service center.
