Do not turn the pattern selector dial while needle is in
material.

Select the stitch by turning

The higher the number, the longer
the stitch length.
You can select the suitable stitch
length for most fabrics.
When sewing stretch stitch, set the
length dial at "S.S.".

If forward and reverse feeds become
unbalanced due to the type of fabric,
correct the balance as follows:
When patterns are compressed,
correct it by turning the dial in the
q
direction
so that the setting mark
indicates "S.S." to "+" .
When patterns are drawn out,
correct it by turning the dial in the
w
direction
so that the setting mark
indicates "S.S." to "–".
