Most minor problems can be resolved quickly and easily using the table below.
If problems persist, contact a Hitachi authorized service center for assistance.
PROBLEM
Piston Ass'y does not
return to full up position
at end of cycle.
Weak drive.
Slow to cycle.
Skipping staples.
Intermittent feed.
Staples jam.
Drives properly during
normal operation, but does
not drive fully at faster
stapling speeds.
CHECK METHOD
Check air pressure.
Piston O-ring cut or
heavily worn?
Driver blade bent or
damaged at the driving
end?
Air exhaust clogged with
dirt or sludged lubricant?

Adjust at 70—120psi.
