You selectthe source you want by selectingthe SOURCE
MENU. It showsthe possible sourcesavailable for your
viewing s_l¢ction.
To Access the SOURCE MENU DiRcfly
1. Press SOURCE
on the remote control to bring up the
SOURCE
MENU.
2. Press SOURCE
repeatedly until the source you want is
highlighted.
3 Press ENTER to return to normal viewing.

I. Press MENU until the SOURCE
Menu is displayed.
2. Press SELECT Up/Down
until the desired source is
higldighted.
3. Press ENTER to return to normal viewing.
Source Identification
The ChanntlFFune
display is usedto determine the type of
input source currently being viewed. To see the Channel/
Tune display, press ENTER. If an antenna or cable-TV
source is being viewed, the Chauncl/Tune display is shownin
the Channel Number/Tune
format. Ira VIDEO source is
being viewed, the Channel/Tune display isshownin the
VIDEO/Tune format.
Source Equipment Connections
The actual source selected for viewing on your TV depends
on how the TV is connected to external equipment.
Selecting ANTICABLE 1 or 2 from SOURCE lV_nn:
Routes "he ANTENNA
or cable-TV source to the TV for
viewh_
You se¢ program material from whichever dgnal
source is €oune._:ted to the ANTIC.ABLE jacL Usually the
antenna is connected to the ANTENNA
jack. In cable ap-
plicatiom, the output from a cable-TV decoder is con-
netted to this jack. For VCR application, the ANT OUT
from the VCR is eounected
to this jack.
Selecting VIDEO 1 or 2 from SOURCE Menu: Routes the
audliary video sour_ (such as a VCR or a Video Disc
player) to the "Iv"for vlcwing. The video source must be
connected to the corr_pondi.$
VIDEO 1/2 jach.
Selecting S-VIDEO 1: Routes the auxiliary Super-VI-IS
VCR Source to the'IV
for viewing. The Super-VI-IS VCR
must be connected to the €orrcspondi_
input jacks.
NOTE: The souses
arc identified by color in both the on-
smeen displays and on the connection center on the back of
the"IV. The color for the Channel/Time display, Volume
and Muted display will match the color or the source you
are watching, The color will also help to identify which
source you are watching when viewing PIP. The colors are
as follows:
