Parking on a flat area
Whenparkingon a flat area,stop the engine
andshiftthe driveselectleverintothe neutral
position.Applythe parkingbraketo help pre-
vent the vehiclefromrolling.
Parking on a slope
The parking brake acts only on the rear
wheelswhenin 2WD.Forthe parkingbraketo
take effect on all four wheels,shift to 4WD
Diff.Lockbeforestoppingthe engine.
If you parkon a hillthat is too steepthe vehi-
cle may rollout of control.Neverparkon hills
that are so steep you cannotwalk up them
easily.If you mustpark on an inclinefollow
theseinstructions:
1. Bringthevehicleto a stopby applying the
brakes.
2. Putthevehiclein4WD Diff.Lock.
3. Turnthe engineoff.
4. With the brake pedal applied,set the
parkingbrake.
5. Block the front and rear wheels with
rocksor otherobjects.
Loading
The total weight of operator,passenger, a c-
cessories,cargo,trailer tongue weight,and
the vehicle itself must not exceed 907kg
(2,000Ib). Vehicle loading can affect han-
