WARNING

Thepositivecane (heavyred wire) is securedto the
positivebatteryterminal(+)with a hexbolt and hex
nut at thefactory,Makecertainthat the rubberboot
coversthe terminalto help protectit from corrosion,
Removethehex bolt and hexnut from the negative
cane,
Removetheblack plasticcover,if present,from the
negativebatteryterminaland attachthe negatkle
cable(heavy blackwire)to the negativebattery
terminal(-) with the boltand nut,

Makecertain thehold=down strap is in positionover
the battery,securingit in place,See Figure1,
NOTE:if the batteryis putinto serviceafterthe date
shownon top of battery,chargethe batteryas instructed
on page20 of this manualprior to operatingthetractor,

removethe shippingbracewith your righthand by
graspingit betweenyourthumband indexfingerand
rotatingit clockwise,
