Deleting movies and
photos
You can free media space by deleting
movies arid photos from recording media.
* When [ _ / _ Setting] is set to
[ _ STD Quality], _ appears
instead of _.
* You cannot restore images o_ce they are
deleted. Save important movies a_d photos in
ad_mlce.
Do _ot remove the battery pack or the AC
Adaptor from your camcorder while deleting
the images, it may damage the recording media.
* Do *_oteject the memory card while deieti*_g
images from the memory card.
* You cannot delete protected movies a*_dphotos.
U*_do the protection of the movies a*_dphotos
to delete them, beIbre you try to delete them.
* The demonstratio*_ movie o*_your camcorder
is protected.
Kyou delete movies/photos that are i_cluded
in saved sce_arios, the sce_arios will also be
deleted.
* Kyou start playi_g back a_ image by selecti_g it
from the Even))_t Index screen, you can delete the
image using _] o_ the playback screem
* To delete all images recorded in the recordi*_g
media, aud recover all the recordable space of
the media, format the media.
* Reduced-size images which e*_able you to view
ma*_y images at the same time on an i*_dex
screen are called "thumb_ails;'

4 Touch and display the 4 mark
on the movies or photos to be
deleted.
Touch and hold the desired thumbnail so
that you can confirm the image. Touch
to retm:n to the previous screen.
To delete aII movies/photos in an event
at one time
@ In step 3, touch [All In Event].
2 Touch _ (MENU) -_ [Edit/
Copy] -_ [Delete].
To select and delete movies,
touch [Multiple Images] -_
[_ MOVIE]/[ _, PHOTO]/
[_ MOVIE/PHOTO].

event, then touch _.
Touch a_d hold the desired thumb_ail so
that you cm_ confirm the image. Touch
to retm:n to the previous screen.
