White Balance
This camcorder automatically adjusts the colour of the subject. You can record in natural
colours depending on the subject and lighting conditions.
PRECHECK!
Select the record by pressing the MODE button, ',-,page 23
1. Touch the Menu (?_;) tab -*"White Balance."
2. Touch the desired submenu item.
• To set the white balance manually, see page 57.
3. To exit the menu, touch the Exit (_) or Return (o,) tab.
• Auto: Controls the white balance automaticallydepending on
the recording conditions.
• Daylight (@):Controls the white balanceaccording to the
outdoor lighting.
• Cloudy (c%):When recording in the shade or cloudy weather.
• Fluorescent (_0: When recording under white fluorescent
lights,
• Tungsten (_,): When recording under halogenlamps and
irlcarldescent lights.
• Custom WB (_): Youcan manuallyadjust the white balance
to match the light source or situation.
While balance (WB) iS the process of removing unrealistic coIour casls, s0 that objects
which appear white are rendered white in your image; Proper white balance has to take
int0 account th÷ 'tcoIourtemperature' ! 0f a light s0urce, which refers t0 the re!ative warmth
