Charging

Your device comes with a Lithium polymer-integrated rechargeable battery.
Before you start using your device, you need to charge the battery; they are not pre-charged. On initial charge, device
should be charged for 4 hours to obtain full battery potential. After initial charge, battery will charge fully in 2 hours.
Follow the steps below to connect your tablet to the power outlet and charge the battery.
Plug one end of the AC power adaptor into the power jack on your device.
Plug the other end into a power outlet. The charge icon indicates that the device is charging.
Note: The charging icon will light up when the battery is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the charging icon will
turn green
If your device is totally out of battery power, it may take a while before you can recharge the battery and power on your
device. Only plug in the charger-adapter when charging.
Battery performance depends on your charging usage.
Tips to improve battery performance
Since the device has a large screen, it can consume a lot of power. To extend battery life between chargings, you can do the
following:
Reduce display brightness.
Reduce web searches.
Turn off Wi-Fi.
NOTE: To prevent battery from running down if you do not use the tablet for an extended period, charge and discharge the
battery fully once every month.
Built-in Lithium polymer batteries have to be charged regularly. Battery damage caused by excessive consumption of
polymer battery is not covered by guarantee. Use of a charger other than the charger indicated for this tablet is also
