• Keep the mains supply cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges and rough surfaces. • If the mains supply cable is damaged, it should be replaced by an Authorised Electrolux Service Agent or similarly qualified person in order to prevent a hazard.

NOTE: The dual purpose floor nozzle (11) OPERATING has two settings. Each can be selected by INSTRUCTIONS using the foot-operated switch on the left hand side of the nozzle. See fig.4. WARNING. Always disconnect your vacuum cleaner from the mains supply before maintaining and or assembling it.

8 Press the on/off switch (5) to switch the vacuum cleaner on. On initial start up, HOW TO CLEAN THE full power is reached after approximately DUST CONTAINER 1-2 seconds. See fig. 8. NOTE: Before doing any type of cleaning or maintenance to the vacuum cleaner, remove the plug from the mains supply.
