This SAMSUNG brand product, as suppliedand distributed by Samsung ElectronicsAmerica, Inc. (SAMSUNG) and delivered new,
in the original carton to the original consumer purchaser,is warranted by SAMSUNG against manufacturingdefects in materials
and workmanship for a limited warranty period of:
One (1)Year Parts and Laboron Refrigerator
Five (5)Years Parts and Labor on Sealed RefrigerationSystem Only*
(*Compressor,evaporator,condenser,drier,connecting tubing)
This limited warranty begins on the original date of purchase,and is valid only on products purchasedand used in the United
States. Toreceive warranty service, the purchaser mustcontact SAMSUNGfor problemdetermination and service procedures.
Warranty servicecan only be performedby a SAMSUNG authorizedservice center. The original dated bill of sale must be
presented upon requestas proof of purchase to SAMSUNGor SAMSUNG's authorizedservice center.
SAMSUNG will repair or replace any part found to be defective,at our option and at no charge as stipulatedherein, with new or
reconditionedparts during the limited warranty periodspecified above. All replaced parts and products becomethe propertyof
SAMSUNG and must be returnedto SAMSUNG. Replacementparts and products assume the remaining original warranty,or
ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.
In-homeservice will be providedduring the warranty labor period subject to availabilitywithin the contiguous United States. In-
home service is not availablein all areas. To receivein-home service,the product must be unobstructedand accessiblefrom floor
level to service personnel. If during in-home service repair cannot be completed, it may be necessary to remove, repairand return
the product. If in-home service is unavailable,SAMSUNG may elect, at our option, to providefor transportation of our choice to
and from a SAMSUNG authorizedservice center. Otherwise,transportation to and from the SAMSUNG authorizedservice center
is the responsibilityof the purchaser.
This limited warranty covers manufacturingdefects in materials and workmanship encounteredin normal, noncommercialuse of
this product, and shall not apply to the following,including, but not limited to: damage which occurs in shipment;deliveryand
installation;applicationsand uses for which this product was not intended;altered product or serial numbers;cosmeticdamage or
exterior finish; accidents,abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightningor other acts of nature;use of products, equipment,systems, utilities,
services, parts, supplies,accessories,applications,installations, repairs,external plumbingand leaks, externalwiring, circuit
breakers,fuses or connectors not supplied and authorizedby SAMSUNG, or which damage this product or result in service
problems; incorrect electricalline voltage, fluctuationsand surges;customer adjustments and failure to followoperating instructions,
cleaning, maintenance and environmentalinstructionsthat are coveredand prescribed in the instructionbook; loss of food due to
spoilage; consumable items includingfilters and light bulbs.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESSWARRANTIES OTHERTHAN THOSE LISTED AND DESCRIBEDABOVE, AND NO WARRANTIES
WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,INCLUDING,BUT NOT LIMITEDTO,ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIESOF
MERCHANTABILITYOR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULARPURPOSE, SHALL APPLYAFTER THE EXPRESS WARRANTY
PERIODS STATEDABOVE, AND NO OTHER EXPRESSWARRANTY OR GUARANTY GIVEN BY ANY PERSON, FIRM OR
CORPORATIONWITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCT SHALL BE BINDING ON SAMSUNG. SAMSUNG SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR LOSS OF REVENUEOR PROFITS,FAILURETO REALIZESAVINGS OR OTHER BENEFITS,OR ANY OTHER
SPECIAL, INCIDENTALOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSEDBY THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USETHIS
PRODUCT,REGARDLESSOF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED,AND EVEN IF SAMSUNG HAS BEEN
ADVISED OFTHE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOR SHALL RECOVERY OF ANY KIND AGAINST SAMSUNG BE
GREATER IN AMOUNT THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTSOLD BY SAMSUNGAND CAUSINGTHE
