Connectin_ a Camcorder (LN-S. 241D/LN-S4041D)
The side panel jacks on your TV make it easy to connect a carecorder to your TV.
They allow you to view the carecorder tapes without using a VCR
TV Side Panel
_,- Each external input source device has a different back panel configuration.
When connecting an external device, match the color of the connection terminal to the cable.
:_- For 40 inch model, use the cables with the ferdte core.
1. Connect a Video Cable
(or S-Video Cable )between
the AV IN2 [VIDEO]
(or S-VIDEO) jack on the
TV and the VIDEO OUT
jack on the camcorder.
2. ConnectAudio Cables
between the AV IN2
[R-AUDIO-L] jacks on the
TV and the AUDIO OUT
jacks on the camcorder.
Connecting a DVD Player
The rear panel jacks on your TV make it easy to connect a DVD player to your TV.

1. Connect a Component Cable
between the COMPONENT
IN [PR,Ps, Y] jacks on the
TV and the COMPONENT
[Y, Ps, PR] jacks on the DVD
player.
2. ConnectAudio Cables
between the COMPONENT
IN [R-AUDIO-L] jacks on
the TV and the AUDIO OUT
jacks on the DVD player.
:_ Component video separates the video into Y (Luminance (bdghtness)), Pb (Blue) and Pr (Red)
for enhanced video quality.
Be sure to match the component video and audio connections.
For example, if connecting the video cable to COMPONENT IN,
connect the audio cable to COMPONENT IN also.

Connecting a DVD Player/Set-Top Box via DVI
This connection can only be reade if there is a DVI Output connector on the extemat device.

Cable or DVI-HDMI Adapter
between the HDMI/DVl IN I
or HDMI/DVl IN 2 connector
on the TV and the DVl
connector on the
DVD player/Set-Top Box.
2. ConnectAudio Cables
between the DVl IN
[R-AUDIO-L] jack on the
TV and the AUDIO OUT
jacks on the DVD player/
Set-Top Box.
