How to Use Your TV's Menu System
You use tile buttons on tile remol(, or tile tkont of your TV to access tile menu sysl('m and
make changes to tile settings.
The tkfllowing pages explain how to use tile diff',rent types of menus to adjust tile t_atures of
your TV.
Tip
Menus
The first menu
is called
tile Main menu.
Press MEN{
on tile remote
or on tile
front
panel
to bring
up the Main menu.
Note that holding
MEN[
for 2 seconds
displays
the GUIDE Plus+
system.
Menus
take you to another
menu
or a control
panel.
There
are two ways
to
select
a choice
in
a 111entl:
[se your arrow buttons
on your remote control to highlight your choice,
and press OK.
Feel free to explore
the menu system If you're
ever unsure where you are in the menu system,
or you're just plain tired o f exploring,
press
CLEAR to remove the menus from the screen
and start over again.

Plays tile sound in mono only. [se this setting when receiving

with weak stereo signals.
Stereo
Splits tile incoming swreo audio signal into left and right channels.
Most TV programs
and recorded
materials have stere(> audio. The word
STt£I?EO appears on tile TV when you rune to a program
that is broadcast
in stere().
