Channel Menu
Signal Type Displays a choice list that lets you select the current antenna
/ype. "Ellis option does not appear when the GUIDE Phls+ system is set up.
UHF/VHFAntenna Choose this if you are currently using an ofl2air
antenna lk)r TV signals.
Cable TV Choose this if you are currently using cable or a cable box lk)r
TV signals.
Auto Channel Search Tells tile TV to search automatically lk)r all the channels
available through tile antenna input. When the TV finds an active channel, it
places it in tile Normal channel list; inactive channels (weak stations or
channels with no signal at all) will be removed I_cnm tile channel list. If you are
using a cable box and have set Lip the GUIDE Plus+ system, this option does
not appear.
List and Labels Displays a control panel that lets you edit your Normal
channel list and choose a six-character label tk)r each channel. Follow tile on-
screen directions to enter your channels and other infimnation.
Channel # Use the up and down arrows to scroll up and down through
tile channels available via your anwnna. You can enter tile channel number
directly using the number buttons.
NormalList Only the channels included in the Normal list are awdlable
when you scan Lip and down using channel up and down. Lse tile up and
down arrow buttons to indicate whether the channel number indicated is
included (Fes) or is not included (No) in the Normal channel list.
ChannelLabel tse the up and down arrow bu/tnns to enter a six-
character label ti)r each channel. Hold tile buunn down to scroll quickly
through tile characters. "File TV can store tip to 27 labels in memory.
Time Menu
Sleep Timer Displays a control panel that lets you select tile amount of time
you want to give tile TV bell)re it shuts itself off.
Schedule Displays a cnntrnl panel that lets you set up a schedule t_)r turning
tile TV on and oft automatically. Reminder: you must turn the schedule On. "File
on-screen directions guide you through tile steps needed to set tile schedule.
Set Time Displays a control panel that lets you enter the current time. The on-
screen directions guide you through the steps needed t() set tile time. If your
GUIDE Plus+ system is set up, it will automatically update your time and this
option will not appear.
