b. Slip plasticchannelof grass bagoverhooks on
the frame.See Figure3-5. All theplasticchannels
exceptcentertop of bag attachfrom outsideof
bag.
c. Attachcentertop of bag from insideof bag.
Yourmoweris shippedas a mulcher.Toconvertto
sidedischarge,makesuregrass catcheris off of the
unitand reardischargedoor is closed.
a. On the sideof the mower,lift the mulchingplug.
See Figure3-7.
b. Slide two hooksof side dischargechute under
hinge pin on mulchingplug assembly.Lowerthe
mulchingplug. Do not removesidemulchingplug
at anytime,evenwhenyou are not mulching.

b. Placegrass catcheron thepivot rod. Letgo
of dischargedoor sothat it restson thegrass
catcher.

ARNING:Never operate mowerunless
the hookson the grass catcher are
firmly seated on the pivotrod and the
rear discharge door restsfirmly against
top of the grass catcher.
Adjustments
An adjustingplateand thumbleverat eachwheel
providescuttingheightadjustment.
1. Depresslevertowardswheel.
2. Moveitto any one of the positionsfor desiredcutting
height.See Figure3-8. Makesurethat eachwheelis
positionedat the sameheight.
3. Releaselevertowardsmowerdeck.
