Battery Information

The following manufacturer-approved recharge-
able batteries are available for your phone:
NiMH batteries BMS-2V, BMS-2S and BMS-2,
and Li-Ion batteries BLS-2, BLS-2H, BLS-4 and
BLS-5.
The approximate operation times for new batter-
ies are:
Talk time to the batteries BMS-2S, BMS-2, BMS-
2H, BMS-2V and BLS-2 is from 2.5 to 4.5 hours
and for the battery BLS-4 from 4.5 to 7 hours.
Standby time for the batteries BMS-2S, BMS-2,
BMS-2V and BLS-2 is from 55 to 260 hours and
for the battery BLS-4 from 95 to 430 hours.
Charging and Discharging the
Battery
• Your phone is powered by a rechargeable bat-
tery.
• Note that a new battery's full performance is
achieved only after two or three complete
charge and discharge cycles!
• The battery can be charged and discharged
hundreds of times but it will eventually wear
out. When the operating time (talk-time and
stand-by time) is noticeably shorter than nor-
mal, it is time to buy a new battery.
• Use only batteries approved by the phone
manufacturer and recharge your battery only
with the chargers approved by the manufac-
turer.
