• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near ch i I d r e n.
Do not allow vacuum cleaner to be used as a toy or to run unattended at any
time.
• Keep hair, Ioosed oth ing, f i n ge rs ,feet and all parts of body away from openings,
rotating agitator and other moving part s.
Do not operate cleaner in bare feet or
when wearing open toe shoes or sandals.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking,

or hot ashes.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combu s t i ble materials such as gasoline or fine
wood sandings or use in areas where they may be present.
• Avoid picking up hard, sharp objects with the cl e a n e r.T hey may damage the
cleaner and the bag.
• A Iw ays turn off this appliance before connecting or disconnecting hose.
• Do not use without dust bag or filters in place. C h a n ge bag frequentlywhen
p i cking up very fine materials such as pow d e r.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not put any object into openings.
Do not use with any opening bl o ck e d ; keep
free of dust, I i n t ,h a i r,or anything that may reduce airflow.
• Do not pull or carry by cord ,use cord as a handle,close door on cord or pull
c o rd around sharp edges or corners .Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord
away from heated surfaces.
• A Iw ays disconnect
cord from electrical outlet before servicing the cl e a n e r.
• Unplug cleaner when not in use.Turn off all controls before unplugg
i n g.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
