Using the carrying handle
1 Oxygen s features a rotat ng handle that makes it easer to
}ft and carry the machine. The carrying handb ass
doub es as the cord r_swnd re ease (see page 6, figures 12).
Using lihe _[eiescopic wand
2 Attach the teescopic wand to the hose handle so that the
catch cricks shut. Remove by pressing n the locking
button and pu}ng the pieces apart.
3 Attach the powerhead to the telescopic wand by
insert ng the wand into the powerhead unti} the catch
clcks shut.
4 Extend or shorten the telescop c wand by pushing the
lock ng button n the d rection of the nozzle and
simultaneously adiusting the length of the telescopic
wa_d. qhere is a lock ng button at both ends of the
telescopic wand. Either button rnay be used to adiust
the wand }ength.
Using Ithe powerhead
This powemozzb is ideal for al types of carpeting because
of the deep cleaning bmshro . It works great on bare floors
when the brushro s turned oft.
After connecting the powernozz e to the wand and hose
(page 8, figL res 2 and 3), turn ors the canister and the
brushrc for carpet clean ng (page 6, fig. 14). The cleaning
height can be adjusted by stepp ng ors the height
adjustment pedal located on the rear of the hood. The
height indicator wl change from low to medium to hgh as
yo4 actuate the adjustment. Use the lowest setting that stl
allows easy maneuvering on the carpet.
Do not use the powerhead on the fr nges of rugs without
first turn ng oft the brushrolL
If carpet fringe cr an object (sock_ etc.) is caught in the
nozzle and prevents the brushr_all from t]rning, a safety
cut-oft wll engage. In add t on, the nozzle's head ght wi}
turn oft and a red Ight ors the powerhead wll indicate that
the power to the nozzle has been interrupted. See
"%.cub eshoot ng,"" page 14 for more information.)
Tbm oft the c eaner when it is not in use. Do not let the
power nozze stand n one pace while running for an
extended perod as t could cause carpet damage. Avoid

UtiHsation de _a t@te moltoris@e
Cette t@e motcr s6e convient parfaitement a tousles types de
rnoquettes grace {_ sa brosse rotative adapt_}e au net_oyage en
prcfondeur. Elle convient parfaitement aux sols nus quand la
brosse rotative est mise hors service.
AprSss avoir raccord6 la tate mctor s@e au tube et au flex hie,
al}urr er le traineau eta brosse rotative (page 8, figurxt_s 2 et 3)
al umer le trai'nea et la brosse rotative pour le nettoyage de
moquette (page 6, fg, 14), La hauteur de nettoyage peut @re

Use de la manila de transporte
1 La Oxygen s cuenta con una manila girator a qua
permite levantar y transpcrtar la rnaquina mas
fs.cilmente. Esta manila act@a Iambi@n comc dispositivo
de liberaci6n pars rebcb nado del cable (vea la p_.g na
6 f@ra 12).
Use de_ _ubo te_escapioe
2 Inserte el tubs tebsc6p co en el mango de la manguera
haste que e pestillo hags un tic. Extragab presionando
el botan de traba y sepape las piezas.
3 Conecte eI cabezal de potenca a tubs teesc6pico
insertando e tubs dentro de cabezal hasta qua el pestillo
trabe cots un clic.
4 Extienda c reduzca e tubs telesc6pco presionando el
bot@s de traba en d recci6n ala boquil a y ai_ standc
s multaneamente la }ongitud del tubs tebsc6pico. Cads
extremo del tubs telesc6pico tiene un bot6n de traba.
Cualquiera de ellos puede usarse pars a ustar la
Iongitud de} tubs.
Uso del cabaza_ de potencia
Esta boquilla de potencia es deal pars todos los tipos de
a fombras dab}do ala capacidad de limpieza profunda de

Si quedan atrapados en la boquilla los flecos de laa fombra
oun objeto (calcet[n, etc.) qe impida la rotaci6n del cepi Io
g ratorio, actOa un d spositivo de corte de seguridad.
