SCOUR
PLUS*
option
(on some models)
When SCOUR PLUS is selected the
dishwasher adds heat and
water during several portions
of the Normal, Heavy, and
Pots-N-Pans cycles. The extra
heat and water improve wash-
ing results. The cycle will be longer when
you select the SCOUR PLUS option. The
Pots-N-Pans cycle with SCOUR PLUS is
recommended
for baked-on soil.
High Temp Wash (on some models)
When High Temp Wash is selected, the dish-
washer heats the water to
140°F (60°C) during the main
HIGH
wash and adds heat and water
TEMP
WASH
to parts rinse of the Low
Energy, Low Energy/China and
Normal cycles. The extra heat improves
washing results. The cycle will be longer
when the High Temp Wash option is select-
ed. The Pots-N-Pans and Heavy cycles auto-
matically use High Temp washes.
Air Dry
When Air Dry is selected, the air in the dish-
washer is not heated during the
"dry" portion of a cycle. Using
Air Dry helps save energy, but
dishes take longer to dry and
some spotting can occur. Some
items (such as plastics) may need towel dry-
ing. For best drying, use a liquid rinse agent.
NOTE: The dishwasher automatically heats
the air in the dishwasher during the "dry"
portion of the cycle unless you select Air Dry.
