Protect pictures from accidental
deletion.
1 Select []
PROTECT in the playback
menu.
2 Highlight
one of the following
options
and press MENU/OK:
• FRAME:Protect selected
pictures.
Press the selector
left or right to view pictures
and press
MENU/OKto select or deselect.
Press DISP/BACK when the operation
is complete.
• SETAU: Protect all pictures.
• RESETAU:Remove protection
from all pictures.

pictures will be deleted
when the memory
card is formatted
(66).
Create a cropped
copy of the current
picture.
1 Display the desired
picture.
2 Select []
CROP in the playback
menu.
3 Use the zoom
buttons
to zoom in and out and use the selector to scroll the picture until the
desired portion
is displayed.
4 Press MENU/OKto display a confirmation
dialog.
5 Press MENU/OKagain to save the cropped
copy to a separate file.
Larger crops produce
larger copies; all copies have an aspect ratio of 4:3. If the size of the final
copy will be I_1, OK will be displayed
in yellow.
