To turn the camera on, open the lens cover ful-
ly. The camera turns off when the lens cover is
closed.

marks on the lens. Keep the lens clean.
If the lens cover is closed, the camera can be
turned on in playback mode by pressing the I_/

button for about a second.
Press the I_/[]

for about a second to
turn the camera off.

IM Caution
Tile indicator lamp lights when the camera is turned offl Do not remove the battery while tile lamp is lit. The
camera carl not be turned on again until the lamp turns off.
%.Tip:Auto Power Off
The camera will turn off automatically if no operations are performed for tile length of time selected in the
AUTO POWEROFF menu (pg. 87). To turn the camera on, close and reopen the lenscover or pressthe I_/I]E]
button for about a second.
