SET UP
USING TV GUIDE Plus+ - SURF mode
This feature allows you to SURF through the channels in TV GUIDE Plus+. The TV GUIDE Plus+ PIP window will display each
show as you go, and when you exit TV GUIDE Plus+, the main channel will automatically go to the channel last displayed in the
PIP window.

Use CURSOR A,V buttons to SURF the channels
in your channel map.
Use CURSOR 4, • buttons to select other features
such as Next, Scan, or Sort, then press SELECT to
enter feature.
Press EXIT to retum to normal TV viewing.

The channel displayed in the PIP will change to match the channel you have selected while using SURF.
When you exit TV GUIDE Plus+, the channel in the PIP will be displayed as the main picture.
You can use the number buttons to directly access the channel you wish to SURF, but that channel must be in the TV
GUIDE Plus+ channel map. If your channel map contains only 2 digit channels (00 _ 99) then you must use 2 digits
to direct access a channel (ex. channel 08 you must press 0 then 8 --, 08). If your channel map contains 3 digit
channels (100 or above) then you must use 3 digits to direct access a channel (ex. channel 08 you must press 0 then
0 then 8 --> 008).
