    REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT 1. Open the battery cover of the remote control by pushing the notched part of the cover with your fingers. 2. Insert two new "AA" size batteries in the remote. When replacing old batteries, push them towards the springs and lift them ouL 3.

    CONNECTING EXTERNAL VIDE-O SOURCES The exact arrangement you use to connect the VCR, camcorder, and laserdisc player to your IV set is dependent on the model and features of each component. Check the owner's manual of each component for the location of video and audio hnputs and outputs. The following connection diagrams are offered as suggestions.

    Your HITACHI Color TV incorporates Dual Tuner technology (except 36CX35B) designed for improved viewing enjoyment. This Dual Tuner feature allows you to view antenna inputs on both the main picture and sub-picture simultaneously, with separate turfing control for each.

Usually caused by interference from automobile ignition systems, neon lamps, electrical drills, and other electrical appliances. • GHOSTS: Ghosts are caused by the television signal following two paths. One is the direct path and the other is reflected from tall buildings, hills or some other objects.
