REPLACING AN EXISTING UNIT?
Use
the correct
wall
case
Check the "Essential
Elements" l abelfor
importantinformation.
This
unit
is designed
to be installed
in a GE plastic
or
insulated
metal
wall case. This
minimizes
condensation
fl'om
fimning
on the room
side
ot the
case.
If the
cmTent
wall case
is not
insulated,
you
can reduce
the
possibility
of condensation
rotating
by inst;dling
insulation
kit ]_M(901

Use
the
correct
outdoor
grille
You should
use the outdoor
grilles
shown
on the
"Essential
Elements"
label
on the top of the unit.
• If an existing
grille is not replaced,
capaci_," and
efficiency
will be reduced
and the refit may tifil to

A deflector
kit,
ILM(40, may be used with grilles that were not designed
tot w)ur new GE Zonelines.

the hot exhaust

• Any vertical deflectors
in the existing
rear grille should
be
reilloved
to
decrease
condenser
air
recirctllation
which
can cause the refit to "short-cycle"
and lead
to
pi'ei/lattli'e
