WARRANTY

This qualityproduct i s warrantedto be freefrom manufacturer's d efectsin material a ndworkmanship, p rovided thatthe unit is used underthenormaloperating

conditions intended bythe manufacturer.

Thiswarrantyis available onlyto the personto whomthe unit wasoriginally sold byDanbyor byan authorized distributor o f Danby,andisnon-transferable.

TERMSOFWARRANTY

PIasticparts(ie.evaporator door,door rails,coversandtraysare warrantedfor thirty(30)daysonlyfrom purchase date,withno extensions provided.

FirstYear

During the first year(1), anyelectricalpartsof thisproductfoundto bedefective,including any sealedsystemunits,willbe repairedor

replaced, a t warrantor'soption,at no chargetothe ORIGINALpurchaser. Consumable parts(ie. lightbulbs)are notwarrantedor

guaranteed for any lengthof time.

SecondThrough

During the next fouryears (4)any part ofthe sealedsystemfoundto be defective(consisting of compressor, c ondenser, e vaporator,

dryerand all relatedtubing)willbe replacedwithoutcharge. The purchaser s hallpay for aIIlaborandreturnfreightduringthis four year

(4)periodfor repairor replacement o f any sealedsystemcomponents.Any unitbeingdiagnosedas non-functional due to sealed

systemfailureandwarranting an exchangeduringtheexistingfour (4) yearswillbe subjectto an appropriate depreciation or userfee,

including any andall freightchargesbeing leviedagainsttheconsumer.

ToObtainService

Danbyreservesthe rightto limitboundaries of"ln HomeService"dueto the proximity of an Authorized ServiceDepot.Any appliance

requiring serviceoutsidethe LimitedBoundaries of "In HomeService", i t will bethe customer's responsibility to transport t he appliance

to the closestAuthorized ServiceDepotat theirown expense.Contactyourdealerfromwhomyourunit waspurchased, o r contact y our

nearest a uthorized Danbyservicedepot,whereservicemust beperformedbya qualifiedservicetechnician.If serviceis performed on

the unitsby anyoneotherthanan authorized servicedepot,or the unit isusedfor commercial a pplication, a ll obligations of Danbyunder

this warrantyshaltbeat anend.

ThefollowingcIauserefersto singleanddoubledoor refrigerators, suppliedwithor withouta separatefreezersection. Nothingwithinthis warrantyshatlimply

thatDanbywill be responsible or liabIefor any spoilageor damageto foodor other contents of this appliance, w hetherdueto any defectof the appliance, o r its

use,whetherproperor improper.

EXCLUSIONS

Saveas hereinprovided, D anbyProductsLimited(Canada) o r DanbyProducts Inc. (U.S.A.),thereare no otherwarranties,conditions, r epresentations or

guarantees, e xpress or implied, madeor intendedby DanbyProductsLimitedor its authorized distributors and all otherwarranties, c onditions, r epresentations o r

guarantees, i ncluding any warranties, c onditions, r epresentations o r guarantees underany Saleof GoodsAct or Iikelegislationor statueis herebyexpressIy

excluded.Saveashereinprovided,DanbyProducts Limited(Canada)or DanbyProductsInc. (U.S.A),shallnot be responsible for anydamagesto personsor

property, i ncluding t heunit itself,howsoever c aused or any consequential damagesarisingfromthe malfunction of theunit andby thepurchaseof the unit,the

purchaser d oes herebyagreeto indemnify and saveharmIess DanbyProducts Limitedfromany claimfor damages to personsor propertycausedbythe unit.

GENERALPROVtSIONS

No warranty or insurancehereincontainedor setout shallapplywhendamageor repairis causedby any of thefollowing:

1) PowerFailure.

2) Damageintransitor whenmovingthe appIiance.

3) Improperpowersupplysuchaslowvoltage,defectivehousewiring or inadequate fuses.

4) Accident,alteration, a buseor misuseof the appliancesuchasinadequate air circulation inthe roomor abnormal o peratingconditions,

(extremely high or lowroomtemperature).

5) Usefor commercial o r industrial purposes.

6) Fire,waterdamage,theft,war, riot,hostility, a ctsof Godsuchas hurricanes, f loodsetc.

7) Servicecalls resulting in customereducation.
