WARRANTY

This qualityproduct i s warranted to be free frommanufacturer's d efectsin materiaI a ndworkmanship, providedthatthe unit isusedunderthe normaloperating

conditions intendedbythemanufacturer.

This warrantyis available only tothe personto whomthe unit wasoriginally sold byDanbyor by an authorized distributorof Danby,and isnon-transferable.

TERMSOFWARRANTY

Plastic parts(ie. evaporator d oor,door rails,coversandtraysare warrantedfor thirty(30)daysonlyfrom purchase date,withno extensions provided.

First Year

During the first year(1), anyelectricalpartsof this productfoundto be defective,including any sealedsystemunits,will be repaired or

replaced, a t warrantoCs option,at no chargeto the ORIGINALpurchaser. Consumable parts(ie. lightbulbs)are notwarrantedor

guaranteed for any lengthof time.

SecondThrough

During the next fouryears (4)any partof the sealedsystemfoundto be defective(consisting of compressor, c ondenser, e vaporator,

dryerand all relatedtubing)will bereplacedwithoutcharge. The purchaser s haIIpayfor all laborandreturnfreightduringthis four year

(4)periodfor repairor replacement o f any sealedsystemcomponents.Anyunit beingdiagnosedasnon-functional dueto sealed

systemfailureandwarranting an exchangeduringtheexistingfour (4)yearswill be subjectto anappropriate depreciation or userfee,

including any andall freightchargesbeinglevied againsttheconsumer.

ToObtainService

Danbyreservesthe rightto limitboundaries of"In HomeService" d ue to the proximity of an Authorized ServiceDepot. Any appliance

requiring serviceoutsidethe LimitedBoundaries of "InHomeService", i t will bethe customer's responsibility to transport t he appliance

to the closestAuthorized ServiceDepotat theirownexpense.Contactyour dealerfromwhomyourunit was purchased, o r contactyour

nearest a uthorized Danbyservicedepot,whereservicemustbe performedbya qualifiedservicetechnician.If serviceis performed on

the unitsby anyoneotherthanan authorized servicedepot,or theunit is usedfor commercial a pplication, a ll obligations of Danbyunder

this warrantyshallbeat anend.

The followingclauserefersto singleanddoubledoor refrigerators, suppliedwithor withouta separatefreezersection. NothingwithinthiswarrantyshaIIimply

that Danbywill be responsible or Iiabiefor any spoilageor damageto foodor other contents of this ap#iance,whetherdueto any defectof the appliance, o r its

use, whetherproperor improper.

EXCLUSIONS

Saveas hereinprovided, D anbyProductsLimited(Canada) o r DanbyProducts Inc. (U.S.A.),thereare nootherwarranties,conditions, r epresentations o r

guarantees, e xpress or implied,madeor intendedby DanbyProductsLimitedor its authorized distributors and all otherwarranties,conditions, r epresentations or

guarantees, i ncluding any warranties, c onditions, r epresentations o r guarantees underany Saleof GoodsAct or likelegislationor statueis herebyexpressly

excluded.Saveashereinprovided, D anbyProducts Limited(Canada)or DanbyProductsInc. (U.S.A), s hallnot be responsible for any damages to personsor

property,including the unititself,howsoever c ausedor any consequential damagesarisingfromthe malfunction of the unit andbythe purchase of the unit, the

purchaserdoesherebyagreeto indemnifyandsaveharmlessDanbyProducts Limitedfromany claimfor damages to persons or property causedby theunit.

GENERALPROVISIONS

Nowarrantyor insurancehereincontainedor setoutshallapplywhendamageor repairis causedby any of thefolIowing:

1) PowerFailure.

2) Damage intransitor whenmovingthe appliance.

3) Improper p owersupplysuchaslowvoltage,defectivehousewiring or inadequate fuses.

4) Accident,alteration, a buseor misuseof theappIiancesuchasinadequate air circulation inthe roomor abnormal o peratingconditions,

(extremely high or low roomtemperature).

5) Usefor commercial o r industrial p urposes.

6) Fire,waterdamage,theft,war, riot,hostility, a ctsof Godsuchas hurricanes, f loodsetc.

7) Servicecallsresultingincustomereducation.

Proofof purchasedatewill be required for warrantyclaims;so,pleaseretainbillsd sale. in the eventwarranty serviceis required, p resent t his document t o our

AUTHORIZED SERVICEDEPOT.
