CHANGING THE REVERSIBLE DOOR
Connecting to Power Supply
,, A 115 volt 60Hz., 15 or 20 amp power supply is required.
,, An individual,
properly grounded branch circuit or circuit
breaker is recommended.
,, Install a properly grounded 3-prong electrical
receptacle
recessed into the back wall as shown.
,, The receptacle must be located on the rear wall as shown.
,, Consult a qualified electrician
or serviceman
if the wiring
instructions
are not clearly understood,
or if doubt exists as
to whether the appliance is properly grounded.
Plug Buttons
or Screws
The appliance can also be installed as a freestanding
unit.
FREE STANDING
INSTALLATION
Choose
the location
Be sure the front of the appliance
is unobstructed
to allow air
circulation
and proper access to the door.
Do not install the appliance where the temperature
will go
below 55°F or above 90°F.
Do not install the appliance where it will be subject to direct
sunlight, heat or moisture.
Allow sufficient
space for door swing.
This unit is not designed
for use in a garage or any other
outside
installation.
Adjustable
Feet
Some appliances
have adjustable feet on the front side; use
them to level the appliance.
Note: For additionaI clearance when installing the unit beneath
a low counter top, remove the hinge cover,
Bottom Hinge
1. Remove top hinge assembly and keep for later use.
2. Remove bottom hinge assembly and keep for later use.
3. Remove plug buttons from upper left holes and transfer
them to uncovered
holes at right side. Be sure to press plug
buttons firmly into holes.
4. Re-install top hinge assembly removed in step 1 on
opposite side.
5. Re-install bottom hinge assembly removed in step 2 on
opposite side.
6. Make sure door assembly is properly aligned on cabinet
before tightening screws.
The process is now complete.
