BAR LUBRICATION
(Fig.20)
For maximum guide bar and chain life, we recommendyou
use Craftsman chain saw bar oil. If Craftsman chain saw
bar oil is not available,you may use a good gradeSAE30 oil
until you are able to obtain Craltsman brand.The oil output
is automaticallymetered during operation.Your s aw will use
approximatelyone tank of bar oil for every tank of fuel mix.
Always fill the bar oll tank when you fill the fuel tank.

IMPROPER CHAIN SHARPENING
TECHNIQUES ANDIOR DEPTH GAUGE
MAINTENANCE WILL INCREASE THE
CHANCE OF KICKBACK WHICH CAN
RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES WHEN
HANDLING THE CHAIN. THE CHAIN CAN
BE SHARP ENOUGH TO CUT YOU EVEN
THOUGH IT IS TOO DULL TO CUT WOOD.
