Slow shutter speeds are used to capture the expanding
Burst
of light from a firework.
• Camera focuses at infinity. The focus indicator ([_ 6) always
glows green when the shutter-release Button is pressed
halfway. Note, however, that objects in the foreground
may
not always Be in focus.
• AF-assist illuminator
(E_] 131) does not light.
• Only the four optical zoom positions shown at right can Be
applied. When the zoom control is rotated, zoom will not
stop at any position other than the four indicated (digital
zoom is available).

Provides clear pictures of text or drawings on a white board or
in print.
• Camera focuses on the subject at the center of the frame.
• Use macro mode ([_]] 3B) to focus at short ranges.
