Images are saved in the camera's internal memory (approximately 43 MB) or on
removable Secure Digital (SD) memory cards (available separately) (_
122).
If a memory card is inserted into the camera, images are automatically
saved on
the memory card and images saved to the memory card can be played back,
deleted or transferred. Remove the memory card to save images in the internal
memory, or play back, delete or transfer images from the internal memory.

Confirm
the power-on
lamp and the monitor
are off and open the battery-chamber/
memory
card slot cover.
Besureto turn offthe camerabefore opening the
battery<hamber/memory cardslot cover.

Beforeopening the battery-chamber/memory card slot
cover,hold the cameraupsidedown to prevent the
batteriesfrom falling out.

Insert the memory
card.
Slidethe memory card in correctly until it clicks into
place.
Closethe battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.
