Direct Skip Function (DVD) (VCD, CD)

This function allows you to skip directly to the beginning of any title
(track) or chapter while a disc is playing.
Press the MEMORY button on the remote control or the ûPLAY
button within 10 seconds of pressing a number to select your title,
chapter or track. Once 10 seconds has passed, your selection is
automatically cancelled.
The Title Direct Skip function does not operate on discs on which no
titles are recorded.
On some discs, the Direct Skip function is disabled.

While a disc is playing, press the DIRECT button on the remote
control.

Using the number buttons (0 to 9) on the remote control, enter a title number. (If you enter two or more digits,
the last two digits are displayed.)

Pressing the MEMORY button on the remote control or the ûPLAY button confirms the selected title
number and the player skips to title 2 and begins playing the title.
If the entered title number does not exist on the disc, the number is ignored when the MEMORY or
ûPLAY button is pressed.
Only Title Direct Skip is available in Stop mode. The Chapter Direct Skip function cannot be used.
