Error Indicators and Warnings

The error indicators and warnings described below appear on the display
whenever there is a disc play problem, operational problem, etc.

• Battery charging is in progress.
• Possible AC adapter or Player malfunction.
• Possible battery pack malfunction or end of
battery pack life. Try using a different battery pack.
• Power turned on while the LCD is turned off or
while the LCD panel is closed.
• Battery pack is not installed correctly in the Player.
• Player is turned on. Charging cannot be
performed while the Player is turned on.
• AC adapter's DC cord is not connected
correctly to the Player.
• Battery is dead. Use a charged battery pack or
switch to AC adapter power.
• A button on the Player is pressed while in Hold
mode.
• The Player is in the Standby mode.
Meaning
• The disc you are attempting to
play is not compatible with this
Player.

• The region number of the DVD
you are attempting to play is not 3
or ALL.
<For Australia and New Zealand>
• The region number of the DVD
you are attempting to play is not 4
or ALL.
• You are trying to perform a wrong
operation.
• The disc you are using does not
support the operation described in
this Operation Manual.
