Corroded battery terminals.
Loose or damaged wiring.
Faulty solenoid or starter.
Cutting too much grass]too fast.
Throttle in "CHOKE" position.
Build-up of grass, leaves and
trash under mower.
Dirty air filter.
Low oil revel/dirty oil.
Faulty spark plug.

CORRECTION
1 Recharge or replace battery.
2 Clean battery terminals.
3 Check all wiring,
4 Check/repEace solenoid orstarter.

speed.
2 Adjust throttle control.
3 Clean underside of mower
housing.
4 ClearV'replace air filter.
5 Check oil level!change oil.
6 Clean and regap or change spark
p{ug.
7 Replace fuel filter.

9 Empty fuel tank and carburetor,
refill tank with fresh gasol{ne and
replace fuel filter.
10 Connect and tighten spark plug
wire.

12 Clean/replace muffler.
13 Check all wiring.

Service and Adjustments section.
15 Contact a Sears or other qualified
service center.
I Replace blade. Tighten blade bolt.
