EXTENSION CORD ATTACHMENT

Useonlyavoltagesupply asshownonthenameplate o f
theunittopowec yourunit,
Theextension c ordusedtoreachthepower source must
be:
• Thecordmustbe markedwiththesuifix "W-A."("W"in
Canada).
• Heavyenoughto carry thecurrentfrom the power
sourcethe fu]llengthof the extensioncord to the
unit.Othera'ise, lossofpower a ndoverheating c anec-
curcausing damage to the unit. RefertoFigure9 for
minimum wire gauge recommendations. The cord
mustbe markedwith theproperwiregauge.
• In goodcondition.Cordinsulation must bei_eclwith
no cracksor detedoragon, P lugconnectors m ustbe
undamaged,
• Secure extensioncordtothe PowerCordasshown
in Figure13 toprevent d isconnection.
• Insertthe cordsocketInto the recessed plugon the
unit. Figure13.
To reduce the risk of electrfo shock, thisunithas a
polarized p lug(onebladeiswider t hantheother).This plug
wiflfitlnapoladzedextension c ord onJy o nsway.lf theplug
doesnotglfullyinto theextension c ord,reversethecord.
If it still doesnot fit make sureyou have a ,ecladzed
extensioncord.If theextension c orddoesnotfit ntothe
outlel,reverse thecord.if it stilldoesnotfit into theoutlet,
contacta qualified electrician t oinstall theproper o utlet.
