I. Onthe sideof the mower, l ift the mulchingcover. S eeFigure 9.
2. Slide two hooksof sidedischarge coverunderhingepinon mulching cover
assembly. Lowermulching cover. D onot remove sidemulching coverat any
time,evenwhenyouarenot mulching.
Adjustments
Cutting Height
There isacutting heightadjustmentleverlocated above the front andrearright
wheel.
1. Pull t heheight a djustment lever o utward towards w heel ( unitwilltendto
fallwhenlever i smoved o utward). See Figure 1 0.
2. Move lever t odesired p osition forachange i ncutting height. S ee Figure 1 0.
3. Release lever t owards deck.
IMPORTANT: All wheels mustbeplacedinthe sameposition. F orroughor uneven
lawns,moveeachheightadjustment l everto ahigherposition. T hiswill preventyou
fromcutting thegrasstoo close to the ground.
