This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any
120-volt AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not
use any other electrical outlet.
NOTE:
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to
fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight
odor. This is normal and will quickly disappear.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
This fan assembly includes a metal insert and fan bracket with a
vertical angle adjustment knob to enable you to adjust your fan to
an ideal cooling angle. To assemble:
1. Remove vertical angle adjustment knob, if attached.
2. Remove metal insert and place it over fan neck with metal
prongs facing away from motor housing.
3. Position fan bracket over fan neck, lining up holes in the
metal insert and fan bracket with those on the fan neck.
4. Place vertical angle adjustment knob through the holes
lined up in Step 3. The vertical angle adjustment knob
must go through on the side with the round opening.
5. Place the locking nut over the vertical angle adjustment knob so
that the nut fits firmly on the side with the 6-sided (hexagonal)
opening.
6. Tighten the vertical angle adjustment knob.
NOTE: Once the nut is in position on the side of the clip neck that
has the 6-sided opening, it is not necessary to hold the nut while
turning the vertical angle adjustment knob.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Clip the fan in the desired location.
2. Adjust the direction of the airflow as desired.
3. Plug into electrical wall outlet.
4. Switch the speed control to the preferred position.

Once the fan is clipped in position, you can
manually rotate the fan a complete 360° or
tilt it left to right to find the desired cooling
angle, without moving the clip!
Slightly loosen the vertical angle adjustment
knob. Move the fan back and forth to find
the perfect cooling position for those often
stuffy, overheated rooms!
No space above the shelf? Clip the fan
upside down, and adjust to desired
cooling angle.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself. Refer it to qualified
service personnel if servicing is needed.
This fan is permanently lubricated and will not require
additional lubrication for the life of the fan.
TO CLEAN: Before cleaning, turn fan off and unplug from electrical
outlet. Wipe off excess dust with a lint-free cloth. To ensure
adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents located at the rear
of the motor housing free from dust accumulation. A vacuum
cleaner hose can be used to clean these vents. Do not submerge
your fan in water or any other liquid. Do not allow any liquid to get
into the fan or motor.
TO STORE: Make sure to clean the fan before storing. Retain the
original packaging for the purpose of storing your fan. Always store
fan in a dry place. Never store it while it is still plugged in. Never
wrap the cord tightly around the fan, and do not put any stress
on the cord where it enters the fan, as it could cause the cord to
fray and break.

Este artefacto es para uso doméstico y puede ser enchufado en
cualquier tomacorriente de 120 voltios (corriente ordinaria
doméstica). No use ningún otro tomacorriente eléctrico.
NOTA:
Este artefacto tiene un enchufe polarizado (una hoja es más ancha
que la otra). Como medida de seguridad, este enchufe sólo debe
usarse en un tomacorriente polarizado en un sólo sentido. Si no
entrara en el tomacorriente, invierta el enchufe y trate nuevamente.
Si aún así no entrara, busque la ayuda de un electricista calificado.
No intente anular este distintivo de seguridad.
IMPORTANTE:
Durante los primeros minutos de su uso inicial, usted notará un
ligero olor a quemado. Esto es normal y desaparecerá
rápidamente.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL ENSAMBLAJE
El ensamblaje de este ventilador incluye una pieza de metal y un
soporte con una perilla para ajuste del ángulo vertical que le
permite colocar su ventilador en un ángulo ideal. Para ensamblarlo:
1. Remueva la perilla para ajuste del ángulo vertical, si ésta está
colocada.
2. Remueva la pieza de metal y colóquela sobre el cuello del
ventilador con las puntas de metal dirigidas en sentido opuesto
a la caja del motor.
3. Coloque el soporte sobre el cuello del ventilador, alineando los
agujeros en la pieza de metal y el soporte con los agujeros en el
cuello del ventilador.
4. Coloque la perilla para ajuste del ángulo vertical a través de los
agujeros indicados en el Paso 3. La perilla para ajuste del ángulo
vertical debe introducirse por el lado donde se encuentra el
agujero redondo.
5. Coloque la tuerca para asegurar la perilla para ajuste vertical en
el agujero de 6 lados (hexagonal), encajándola firmemente.
6. Ajuste la perilla.
NOTA: Una vez que la tuerca esté posicionada en el lado del cuello
del clip que tiene el agujero de 6 lados, no es necesario sostener la
tuerca mientras esté dándole vuelta a la perilla.
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Enganche el ventilador en el lugar deseado.
2. Ajuste la dirección del flujo de aire como se desee.
3. Enchúfelo en un tomacorriente eléctrico.
4. Coloque el control de velocidad a la posición preferida.

Una vez que el ventilador esté enganchado
en una posición, usted puede rotarlo
manualmente a 360° o inclinarlo a la
izquierda o a la derecha hasta encontrar el
ángulo de enfriamiento deseado, ¡sin mover
el clip!
Afloje ligeramente la perilla de ajuste de
ángulo vertical. ¡Mueva el ventilador hacia
atrás y hacia adelante hasta encontrar la
posición perfecta de enfriamiento para esos
cuartos mal ventilados y calurosos!
¿No tiene espacio en la repisa?
Enganche el ventilador hacia abajo y
ajústelo en el ángulo de enfriamiento
deseado.
INSTRUCCIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO
PARA EL USUARIO
Este artefacto requiere poco mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que
puedan ser reparadas. No trate de repararlo. Si necesita reparación
remítalo a personas calificadas.
Este ventilador está permanentemente lubricado y no
necesitará lubricación adicional.
PARA LIMPIAR: Antes de limpiarlo, apague el ventilador y
desenchúfelo. Sacuda el exceso de polvo con un trapo libre de
pelusas.
Para asegurar una adecuada circulación de aire al motor, mantenga
los orificios ubicados en la parte de atrás del motor libre de
acumulación de polvo. Una aspiradora puede ser usada para
limpiar estos orificios. No sumerja su ventilador en agua o cualquier
otro líquido. No deje que ningún líquido entre en el ventilador
o motor.
PARA GUARDAR: Asegúrese de limpiar el ventilador antes de
guardarlo. Guarde la envoltura original para guardar el ventilador.
Siempre guárdelo en un lugar seco. Nunca lo guarde mientras esté
enchufado. Nunca enrolle el cordón ajustadamente en el
ventilador y no ponga presión sobre el cordón en la parte que
entra en el ventilador ya que esto podría ocasionar que el cordón se
desgaste y se rompa.
