LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion
marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be
serviced and the line cord replaced. Please return it to our Service
Department or to an authorized service representative.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could
place undue stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and
cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE,
OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING
ENTIRELY.
HOW TO USE
This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any 120V AC
electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other
electrical outlet.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of initial use, there may be a slight odor.
This is normal and will quickly disappear.
This fan has three speeds and a tilt adjustment feature that enables it to
be adjusted vertically for maximum cooling angle.
FAN/BASE ATTACHMENT:
BEFORE ATTACHMENT: Remove fan and base from packaging. Notice fan
has two sets of tabs on bottom and corresponding slots. Base is also
contoured to facilitate tilt adjustment. Two rubber feet on underside of
base help maintain stability while fan is in operation. Note location of
rubber feet, as this will help in positioning fan correctly for attachment.
TO ASSEMBLE: Set fan base on a flat, stable surface where it cannot fall
or be pulled on by the cord. Place fan in base so that rear of fan (with
motor housing visible) faces rear of base (side where rubber feet are
located). Line up tabs on fan with slots in base. Press firmly on top of fan
until sharp clicks are heard, indicating that tabs on fan are firmly secured
to slots in base (see Fig. 2). Test tilt adjustment by placing one hand on
carrying handle and manipulating fan back and forth with the other
(see Fig. 3).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug fan into electrical outlet.
2. Turn fan on and select desired speed.
3. Adjust tilt to suit personal preference.
CARE AND CLEANING
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself. Refer it to qualified service
personnel if servicing is needed.
This fan is permanently lubricated and will not require additional
lubrication for the life of the fan.
TO CLEAN: Before cleaning, turn fan off and unplug from electrical outlet.
Wipe off excess dust with a lint-free cloth. To ensure adequate air
circulation to the motor, keep vents located at the rear of the motor
housing free from dust accumulation. A vacuum cleaner hose can be used
to clean these vents. Do not immerse fan in water or any other liquid. Do
not allow any liquid to get into the fan or motor.
TO STORE: Make sure to clean the fan before storing. Always store fan in
a dry place. Never store it while it is still plugged in. Never wrap the cord
tightly around the fan, and do not put any stress on the cord where it
enters the fan, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

SUGERENCIAS PARA SEGURIDAD CON EL CORDON
1. Nunca hale o tire del cordón o del artefacto.
2. Para introducir el enchufe, sujételo firmemente y guíelo hacia el
tomacorriente.
3. Para desconectar el artefacto, sujete el enchufe y retírelo del
tomacorriente.
4. Antes de cada uso, inspeccione el cordón si tiene cortes y/o
raspaduras. Si algo fuera encontrado, esto indica que el artefacto
deberá ser revisado y el cordón deberá ser reemplazado. Por favor,
devuélvalo a nuestro Departamento de Servicio o a un representante
de servicio autorizado.
5. Nunca enrolle el cordón ajustadamente alrededor del artefacto, ya
que esto podría causar una presión excesiva en el cordón donde éste
entra al artefacto y causar desgaste y rotura.
NO HAGA FUNCIONAR EL ARTEFACTO SI EL CORDON MUESTRA
CUALQUIER DAÑO, O SI EL ARTEFACTO FUNCIONA
INTERMITENTEMENTE O DEJA DE FUNCIONAR COMPLETAMENTE.
COMO USAR
Este artefacto es para uso doméstico y puede ser enchufado en cualquier
tomacorriente de corriente alterna (corriente ordinaria doméstica).
No use ningún otro tomacorriente eléctrico.
IMPORTANTE:
Durante los primeros minutos de su uso inicial, puede haber un ligero olor.
Esto es normal y desaparecerá rápidamente.
Este ventilador tiene tres velocidades y un ajuste para inclinación que le
permite ser ajustado verticalmente en un ángulo para máximo
enfriamiento.
PARA ADAPTAR BASE/VENTILADOR:
ANTES DE ADAPTARLO: Retire el ventilador y la base de la caja.
El ventilador tiene dos juegos de lengüetas en la parte baja y las
correspondientes aberturas. La base es también contorneada para
facilitar el ajuste de inclinación. Dos pies de goma en la parte de abajo de
la base le ayudan a mantener la estabilidad mientras el ventilador esté en
funcionamiento. Note la ubicación de los pies de goma, ya que esto
ayudará a ubicar correctamente el ventilador para ensamblarlo.

PARA ENSAMBLARLO: Coloque el ventilador en una superficie plana y
estable donde no pueda caerse o ser halado por el cordón. Coloque el
ventilador en la base de manera que la parte de atrás del ventilador (con
la caja del motor visible) quede frente a la parte de atrás de la base (el
lado donde están ubicadas las patas de goma). Alinee las lengüetas en el
ventilador con las ranuras en la base. Presione firmemente en la parte de
arriba del ventilador hasta que oiga un sonido, indicando que las
lengüetas en el ventilador estén firmemente aseguradas en las ranuras
de la base (Fig. 2). Examine el ajuste para la inclinación colocando una
mano en el asa para llevar y manipulando el ventilador hacia atrás y
hacia adelante con la otra (Fig. 3).
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Enchufe el ventilador en un tomacorriente eléctrico.
2. Encienda el ventilador y seleccione la velocidad deseada.
3. Ajuste la inclinación de su preferencia.
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
Este artefacto requiere un mínimo de mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que
puedan ser reparadas. No trate de repararlo usted mismo. Si necesita
reparación remítalo a personas calificadas.
Este ventilador está permanentemente lubricado y no necesitará
lubricación adicional.
PARA LIMPIAR: Antes de limpiarlo, apague el ventilador y desenchúfelo.
Sacuda el exceso de polvo con un paño libre de pelusas.
Para asegurar una adecuada circulación de aire al motor, mantenga los
orificios ubicados en la parte de atrás del motor libre de acumulación de
polvo. Una aspiradora puede ser usada para limpiar estos orificios. No
sumerja el ventilador en agua o cualquier otro líquido. No deje que ningún
líquido entre en el ventilador o motor.
PARA GUARDAR: Asegúrese de limpiar el ventilador antes de guardarlo.
Siempre guárdelo en un lugar seco. Nunca lo guarde mientras esté
enchufado. Nunca enrolle el cordón ajustadamente alrededor del
ventilador y no ponga presión sobre el cordón en la parte que entra
en el ventilador ya que esto podría ocasionar que el cordón se desgaste
y se rompa.
