Windows 95 does not come with LPR, so in addition to installing TCP/IP, as described below, you need to install the EPSON TCP/IP printer protocol. The EPSON Status Monitor 2 installer program automatically prompts you when to install EPSON TCP/IP printer protocol.
Assigning the IP Address For a Windows 95 peer-to-peer network you need to set the card’s IP address. Make sure the Ethernet card and printer are on the same segment of the network as the computer you are using to configure the card. Also, find out the IP address for the computer and the IP address for the Ethernet card.
