Copying images toyour c omputer
This section describes the process using a
Windows computer as an example.
You can copy images from the camera to
your computer as follows.
For a computer with a "Memory Stick"
slot
Remove the
"Memor_
Stick" l'ronl the
camera and insert the "Memory Stick" into
tile "Memory Stick" slot of the computer,
then copy tile images.
Fora computerwithouta "Memory
Stick" slot
Follow Stages l through 5 on pages 55 to
59 to copy images.
• A driver is software that enable equipmem
connected to tile colnptlter to operate properly,
• When using Windows XP, start tronl Stage 2.
• When "PicturePackage" is aheady installed,
Stage 1 is unnecessaly.
NOTE: Do not connect the camera to
the computer at this time.

/ Shut down all application
software in use.
• In Windows 2(1(1(/, log on as Adnlinistralor
(atlthorized Administrators),
/ Insert the CD-ROM into the
computer, then click [USB Driver]
when the install menu screen
appears.
The "InstallShield Wizard" screen
appears.
• II tile install lllellU screell does not appear,
double-click _ (My Conlputer) _ ;i_
(PICTUREPACKAGE).

Click [Next].

The USB driver installation starts.
When the installation is finished, the
screen informs

completion.
Click the radio button next to
[Yes, I want to restart my
computer now] to select it, then
click [Finish].

establish a USB connection.
Remove the CD-ROM when tile installation
is completed.
