Light reflecting back from the eyes may appear
red when the flash is used in dark places. Use
the auto red-eye reduction* for these situations.
For this mode to be effective, the subject must be
looking right at the red-eye reduction indicator.
Try asking them to look at the red-eye indicator.
Even better results can be obtained by
increasing the lighting in indoor settings or
coming closer to the subject.
The shutter will not activate for approximately
1
second after the red-eye reduction indicator
fires, even when the shutter button is pressed all
the way down in order to improve the effect. If
you want to have more immediate shutter
