Exposure
In this mode, you set both the shutter speed and aperture as desired. To
determine the exposure, refer to the exposure level indicator anthe
viewfinder or use a commercially-available
handheld exposure meter.
This method ascalled manual exposure.

® Press the <MODE>
button and turn
the <_:_/0>
dial to select <M>.
Set the desired
shutter
speed.
® Whale looking at the top LCD panel,
turn the <_:_>
dial.

aperture.
® Make sure the power switch is set to
<J>.
® While looking at the top LCD panel,
turn the <O>
dial.
® You can also set it with the <_>
button and <_:_10>
dial.

the subject.
® Press the shutter button halfway.
_+ The exposure setting will be displayed.
® On the right of the viewfinder, the
exposure level indicator <m>
indicates the current exposure level
relative to the standard exposure
index <_>.

Set the exposure
and take the
picture.
® Check the exposure level and set the
desired shutter speed and aperture.
